19 cheerful players teed off on a beautiful Sunday morning in the AVI Shootout competition. There was good-natured competition and banter as one player was eliminated per hole.  In the end, it came down to Brent Berry and Tony Hawker walking down the 18th fairway. Tony held his nerve to win the tournament and the cash prize.

We’re on the hunt for a part-time hands-on employee who can keep the wheels turning smoothly at our busy golf club. This position mostly involves weekend work.

What You’ll Be Doing 

Keeping things running, and ensuring every member and guest walks away happy. You’ll be: 

• Greeting and assisting members and guests at the golf club. 

• Taking Tee Time bookings by phone and email. 

• Handling guest queries, feedback, and resolving any issues. 

• Managing opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance 

• Driving a fun, welcoming, and safe environment. 

• Running our bar and office on weekends and special events. 

• Helping where needed — whether it's in the office, at the bar, or behind the scenes 

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven experience in hospitality or other customer-facing business. 

• A current Bar Manager’s Certificate (or prepared to get one) 

• Confident decision-maker, calm under pressure, and solution-focused 

• A natural people person with great communication. 

• Hands-on, proactive, and ready to roll up your sleeves
