Jackpot Twos & Net Eagles Not struck

Wednesday Mixed Golf

Ken Williams, swinging like a pendulum on his new hips, produced a stellar round to clean up at midweek golf with a 79 off the stick and 41 stablefords. Great work, Ken.

Barry Toomey won the net eagles, but sadly for Barry, his good friend Howard Chellew had emptied the jackpot the previous week.

Greens Renovations Complete

In a race against the elements, Steve, Neil, and Dean completed the coring in record time to begin the healing process on our greens.

Steve was very pleased with the work and expects the greens to be back to normal in two weeks.

Steve described the work as a "necessary evil," as some small disruption now resulted in better aeration, less thatch, and increased root growth over time.

A cored Green.

Neil on the sand spreader.

Dean on Neil Duncan's innovative homemade sandbrush attachment, which saved much time.
